Westringia ‘Jervis Gem’ – Westrinigia fruticosa
Native | Full sun / part shade | H 1m | W 1m
A more compact form of Westringia. Silver green foliage and soft blue mauve flowers contrast beautifully when planted with dark green foliage and pink, purple and white flowering plants.
Category / Uses: useful as a small border hedge; attracts birds.
Position / planting / care: can grow in most soils and conditions but thrives in an open sunny position. Tolerates periods of dryness, coastal exposure and frost. Cultivate soil before planting. Dig hole twice the width of the container. Remove plant from container and place into hole so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground. Low maintenance.
