Exotic (East Asia) | Full sun to full shade  | H 60cm |  W  60cm

A hardy, evergreen perennial with true pink coloured spikes in Spring-Summer.

Category / Uses: ideal for use as a border or ground cover.

Position / planting / care: Suitable for full sun to full shade, prefers a well drained soil and protection from the wind. Tolerates dry periods. This plant may be left undisturbed to form clumps or can be divided in autumn. Cultivate the soil before planting. Dig a hole that is twice as wide and deep as the container. Remove the plant from the container and place it in the hole, so that the soil level of the plant is the same as the surrounding soil. Fill the hole with soil, tamp down firmly, and water well, even if the soil is moist. To keep this plant looking tidy, remove any spent or scruffy leaves with a pair of sharp secateurs.
