Deciduous tall ornamental tree. Conceal shaped with an attractive corky bark and handsome leaves of gorgeous autumn tones of red, orange, crimson, yellow and purple – a wall of colour. Flowers form in spring followed by spiky, woody, ball-like fruits which hang from the branches.

A beautiful large tree best suited on properties or in parks or large gardens. The stunning autumn foliage in autumnmakes it a great feature shade tree.
Position/ planting: Prefers full sun in well-drained soils. A hardy tree once established that tolerates many growing locations including wet soil and frost.
Name: called Liquidambar due to its yellow reddish-brown sap.
