A hardy native shrub with a semi-weeping habit; bears masses of large, bright pink bottlebrush flowers which fade to give a mosaic of pale and darker flowers during late winter and spring.
Category / Uses: ideal for low hedges, rockeries and borders. Good in tubs and general garden use. Flowers attract nectar feeding birds and shelter.
Position / planting / care: good for a wide range of soil types, sun to part shade. Is wind and drought hardy and suitable for coastal conditions. Prune lightly after flowering for a denser plant with lush new growth and more prolific flowers.
