A low growing dense, evergreen shrub with a decorative bright sheen to the leaves. Bright red bottlebrush flowers occur mainly in the spring and summer.

Category / Uses: ideal for low hedges, rockeries and borders. Good in tubs and general garden use. Flowers attract nectar feeding birds and shelter.

Position / planting / care: good for a wide range of soil types, sun to part shade. Is wind and drought hardy and suitable for coastal conditions. Prune lightly after flowering.
